This 15x6 American Racing Torq-Thrust D wheel features a 5 on 4 and 1/2 bolt pattern, for use on Ford, Mercury or Mopar muscle car applications. This VN105 Torq-Thrust D wheel features a machined outer lip and textured gray spokes for an old school look. It features 3.66 inches of backspacing, which translates to a +4 offset. This offset allows fitment on many classic muscle car applications with drum brakes or disc brakes, and is intended for use on the front or rear of the vehicle. Torq-Thrust wheels feature a one-piece cast aluminum construction, and features a conical lug nut seat, meaning you can use common acorn style lug nuts.
American Racing debuted the Torq-Thrust D wheel in 1965, in response to the new and improved Corvette disc brake system that came out in the same year. The design featured curved spokes to provide adequate clearance of the large disc brake rotors and calipers. While the curved spoke was out of necessity for clearance purposes, it also provided a unique look that looks great on hot rods, muscle cars and more./p>
